Friday,
May 25th! Memorial Day Weekend – "We Remember" - We will
leave Glen Mar at 5:30. Be dressed in full uniform. The Troop will place US
flags on the graves at the national cemetery in
A special night! – This evening eight of our Eagle Scouts (now adults) retuned
to spend time with the troop. All are doing well. Thanks for stopping in, guys!
Summer Camp – Medical
forms for boys and adults must be turned in to Mrs. Bietry . The Class
I physical must be updated annually. A valid Class II physical is required for
boys and adults below the age of 40. The Class II physical is good for 3 years.
A Class III physical is required for adults 40 years of age and older and for
all youth and adults who are engaging in a high adventure activity ( e.g.,
COPE, Sea Base, Philmont, etc.). The Class III physical is good for one year.
Parents, please review these forms in person with Mrs. Rita Bietry as soon as
possible at an upcoming troop meeting. Medical forms can be found on the

& 2nd Class Swimming Requirements – Pioneers will meet next Wednesday from 6:30
– 8:00 p.m. at the UMBC swimming pool to complete swimming requirements
for rank advancement. Scouts in the Ranger and Venture Programs may also attend
if they have unfinished requirements for the Swimming Merit Badge. Contact Mr.

Fitness Merit Badge – Mrs.
Serrao will hold another session for this merit badge at 8:30 on Saturday, May
26 th at the

Water Rafting Trip – If you
signed up for this trip, Mr. Dobbs has your paperwork. Please pick it up from
him.
Troop 874's Dinner and Court of Honor is on Sunday, June 3rd at 6:00 p.m. Reservations for
dinner ended tonight. If you signed up for dinner, please show up by 6:00.
Otherwise, please be seated by 7:30 for the Court of Honor. This event will be
at the Church of the Resurrection, just behind the Home Depot on
